Just as the prophet Habakkuk rejoiced in God alone amidst utter desolation, true gratitude is an expression of faith that trusts God's sovereignty and love, transcending circumstances and conditions. This gratitude opens our spiritual eyes to discover God's good will in every moment of our lives, even in suffering and failure.
 

더 나아가, 주님과의 동행은 '순종'으로 깊어진다. 순종은 우리를 향한 하나님의 뜻을 이루는 통로이며, 이를 통해 우리는 성령의 아홉가지 열매(사랑, 희락, 화평, 오래 참음, 자비, 양선, 충성, 은유, 절제)를 맺어감으로써 점차 예수님의 성품을 닮아가게 된다. 이것이 바로 하나님께서 우리에게 성령을 보내주신 궁극적인 목적이다. 이 열매들은 인간적인 노력의 산물이 아니라, 내 안의 옛사람의 소욕을 '나는 죽었다'라고 부인하고, 성령의 음성에 귀 기울여 따를 때 맺히는 신적인 선물이다.

Furthermore, companionship with the Lord deepens through "obedience." Obedience is the channel through which God's will for us is fulfilled, and through it, we gradually come to resemble Christ's character by bearing the nine fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control). This is the ultimate purpose for which God sent us the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, practical companionship with the Lord can be sustained in daily life through concrete practices like keeping a "Jesus-accompanying journal," which helps us remember His constant presence and seek His guidance. When we resolve to live this way, especially from our youth, we will not only experience personal transformation but also be used as a light to illuminate the darkness, testifying to God's living presence in our communities and the world, much like the rooster that sang of hope amidst ruins. The Lord reveals His perfect power through our individual weaknesses today, leading us from despair to hope, from failure to complete restoration.
